I rescued a lost kitten on a busy street in extreme heat while I was driving home from work. I wasn't expecting an animal rescue that day but I knew if I didn't rescue that poor cat, it would have died in minutes either from a car or the heat. The poor kitten was crying, his paws were burning, his whiskers were singed from the heat and to make matters worse, he couldn’t see where he was going with the mucus that sealed his eyes closed. So stopped my Jeep, safely stopped traffic, rescued the kitten and took him home to cool him down, clean him up and get him back to being healthy. At first, we were only going to keep it until we could find someone to adopt him but then as he began to feel better, he showed us just how good of a cat he’d truly be. So we’ve decided to keep this baby kitten and not adopt him to another family. Now the question is, what should we name him?
