Your favorite childhood flash player games… gone. You’ll no longer be able to revisit these nostalgic games, ever again in your whole life... or will you?
On Jul 25, 2017, Adobe announced the end of the Flash Player’s life at the end of 2020.
over the years, as technology matured, Flash Player became outdated, because new formats like HTML5, WebGL and WebAssembly came into play and did basically what flash did, but better, and more secure, as Flash Player became a weak point for hackers to infiltrate and place malware more easily than developers would like.
In fact, some of these companies have turned to the mobile market to keep their gaming alive... like Neopets mobile...??
A great portion of my college major was centered around Javascript and HTML5 coding, but by no means am I an expert, especially in Flash Player. In fact, I'm still at base beginner knowledge compares to all the smart people out there. Please correct me if I'm wrong and comment below!
