This is the first video of our European Tour Part II in our self built Mercedes Sprinter Camper Van, we head out from Dover to Calais.

We travel north to Dunkirk to the site of Operation Dynamo where the allied forces were evacuated as Germany continued to push across France during the second world war.
It was very sobering to stand on that beach remembering those that lost their lives defending our country.
Our first overnight stop is in a lovely country park called "Bois des Fort" another free camping spot found on the park for night app using the "Surrounded by Nature" feature.

It has been raining for two days solid and unfortunately, the rain has found a weakness in my mastic and we woke to drips coming through the roof of the van.
The next day when it was dry I got up on the roof and set about repairing the leak. It appears to be a couple of very small cracks in the mastic joints but water can find the smallest of defects.
There is nothing wrong with the Maxxfans they are performing really well and have enabled us to cook so much more than before.
