WHAT IS the Our Brilliant Ruin Starter Set?
We're back with more Our Brilliant Ruin, a roleplaying game where the corrosive light of a distant dead star has befouled the world. Only the Dramark remains, the last vestiges of a gilded society unraveling against the backdrop of this preternatural catastrophe. Here, aristocrats cling to their crumbling estates, truefolk struggle to maintain the status quo, and unbonded rebel against it all while Ruined horrors and rusted machines prowl the countryside.

Our new Starter Set is perfect for first-time players looking for an introduction to the world of Our Brilliant Ruin while offering returning players a new venture in the Dramark. You'll navigate the Dramark's social politics, encounter a malfunctioning syllokinetic (giant machines from a past era), and combat the twisted horrors of Ruin.

Encounters include high-society social events, crisis-solving among the bridge collapse's survivors, retrieving a unique repair item from a group of Ruined creatures, and recognizing those who helped manage the crisis while protecting those who wish to stay hidden. Starter Set campaign can be approached in a number of ways, from pure diplomacy to factional intrigue to might and combat and can be told in a single session or up to three. Includes five pregenerated characters, but experienced players can create their own if they wish to include them in the Starter Set
story's events.

WHAT IS KICKSTARTER?
