At #HCCB, our commitment to #protecting and #preserving the environment is reflected through the various activities we initiate. Our #25lakh #treeplantation drive, in partnership with #ForestsbyHeartfulness, is a similar initiative which started off in #Hyderabad.
With this initiative, which will cover multiple states in India, we aim to create a #carbonsink of approximately #1500 tonnes of CO2 emissions in the next 3-5 years. We also aim to plant at least #1lakh trees in #Telangana by the end of this financial year.
We were graced by the presence of Mr. Neil Comerford, Executive Director and Chief Commercial & Sales Officer, HCCB, and Mr. Kamlesh, President and Guide of Heartfulness, who supported our initiative with their words of appreciation and inspiration.
The first part of this drive in #Telangana, earlier this year, saw the plantation of #7500 saplings at 'Bruhat Pattana Prakruti Vanam'. Hundreds of volunteers including #HCCB emplpoyees, #villagers, and #forestdepartment officials have become a part of this since then."
