John Drew, Director of Improvement and Culture at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, has launched a series of Leadership Talks – open to all staff – with a range of internal and external speakers.
The fourth talk in the series was on 31 July 2019 in Sir Kenneth Wheare Hall on Oxford Brookes University’s Gipsy Lane site, where staff engagement and leadership expert Professor Michael West talked about Leadership and Culture in the NHS.
Professor West is a Senior Fellow at the King’s Fund and Professor of Organisational Psychology at Lancaster University Management School. The focus of his research over 30 years has been culture and leadership in organisations, team and organisational innovation and effectiveness, particularly in relation to the organisation of health services.
