This is my favorite quote/scene from One Tree Hill. So powerful. So dramatic. So... breathtaking. I was rewatching it yesterday and thought "gosh, this would be perfect for Regina". And because I didn't have anything to do today I managed to finish it. It wasn't hard to make just... sad. A bit.
I just hate how unfair her life was because of her mother and even now she can't be free, because she caused her bitterness. And she thinks it was Snow... poor girl.
"Why did you do this?"
"Because this is my happy ending!"
"Mother, why have you done this?"
"Because this is your happy ending."
And the poem:

How did it find us? Did it steal into our lives or did we seek it out and embrace it?
What happened to us? That we now send our children into the world like we send young men to war, hoping for their safe return, but knowing that some will be lost along the way.

Gives me chills everytime.
Lana portrays her amazingly. Both sides of her. And probably she's the reason why I've grown to like the character this much. Because first I hated her. But now... I feel kinda sad for her.

Finally! Ive been meaning to make a video about these two, but I guess I never found the right song. And then one day, like 2 or 3 weeks ago, I was going through some older playlists, and then it just hit me. This song is just, like, perfect!! Of course all the he and His and stuff like that is considered as She and her here. Naturally.
I didnt want to add effects to it, I think the one I used and the coloring is enough.
I find their relationship endlessly fascinating and I really hope that the show will continue to show us their past and gives us some great scenes as for the present. I could write a novel about them, but lets just say that Im positive that they love each other underneath it all and thats one explanation why they never managed to kill one another. And you cant convince me otherwise. This family... this show.........

I was debating to wait until the last three episodes air, but I just couldnt help myself. I dont know where the writers will take them and Im a bit weary that it wont be more than what we already got, so Im just riding this high and inspiration while it lasts!
Considering that I didnt know shit about LoL before, Im way too deep down the Arcane hole partying 24/7 in the angst.
THEM. Okay, I need to clarify that the WHOLE show is mcfrickin brilliant, and is exceeding all my expectations BIG time. The animation, the writing, the art direction, the score music, the voice acting... I could go on all day. And Im living for the sister dynamic that made my bawl my eyes out multiple times. I plan on making something for them too in the future, but I definitely want to have all 9 epis for that. Okay. Yes. BUT.
Caitlyn and Vi managed to steal the whole show for me when they teamed up and I havent been able to think about anything else since lmao. I love a good enemies-to-friends-to-lovers story anyday, and theyre writing these two so good. Just the silent things like Cait not missing a heartbeat to give up her most valuable thing, her gun, to save a girl who shes seen has suffered needlessly so much. Vi slowly realising that just because Cait is an enforcer from topside shes a nice and kind human being and warms up to her. The potential they have is just *chefs kiss*. Ahem, hopefully they will too.
Cant wait for next weeks batch of final episodes to murder my emotions :)

Its safe to say that I spent almost two weeks constantly working on this video. If I wasnt editing I was thinking about what I should add to it, etc etc.. Its been a while since I last was in a workflow mode like this, it was nice.
For the first round of the Test Your Skills challenge we needed to make a video consisting only of scenes with human body, as the topic was set to Study of the Body”. My first thoughts went to a hot/steamy/passionate kind of vid, but I found it too easy, too obvious so I decided to challenge myself and do a completely different style. It is a contest after all :)
