I applied for the collab she was hosting and we started talking about Radioactive. I told her at the time I was planning to expand my collab part into a video using this song, alongside another OUAT part I had already done at the time) and she was delighted, so that's why I have chosen this video for her.
Amanda is an amazing editor, with a precise sense of ... emotion, if you know what I mean. One of her Delena preview vids has but a few scenes, but they have been chosen with care and they convey the aforementioned emotion (whatever it is, love, sadness, joy..) to such extent that you start wondering how it is possible at all, in full bond with the lyrics and sound. The colourings are always interesting and there is always something different about each video because of them, and last but not least - always a fantastic choice of songs - that's something I sometimes have a problem with, making a decision which song to vid.
I am so glad I found her channel and met her, especially because we share two fandoms out of three that I ship - TVD and OUAT.
I made this one a month ago, so there aren't any scenes from recent episodes. I've always wanted to do something with Radioactive and I had the chance when I was asked to make four parts for various collabs, of which this video consists, among other clips. What youre going to see here is:
Hook, MM and David are set to find Merlin in Camelot. They go to various places and eventually find the Holy Grail. Whether they can retrieve it is another question ;)
The basis for the video is what the Apprentice told them about Merlin and the necessity for them to find him. This must be to where S5 is going.
I had to pair the Excalibur with the Dagger because I have the feeling they will be connected in some way.
Regina has her own plot with Zelena and pregnancy but what she doesnt know is (solely my vision) the cure for infertility exists. So wherever you see a lake, thats a hint. I wish this would happen in S5 too. I also loved what Isaac told her - that something is looking out for her. Could it be Merlin??
As for Merlin, I want to see the wise old Merlin in S5. I cant wait for it. Ive always loved this legend and so happy to be able to watch the OUAT twist. Is there going to be Morganna too? :D
