This program includes an exploration of "other" diasporas—the experimental, the sonic, and the linguistically fluid landscapes of modern Latin American poetry. Through a series of readings in both English and Spanish, and an in-depth discussion, this event will examine how these works maintain their spirit as they are interpreted into English, and what is gained in the translation process. Join Urayoán Noel, Natasha Tiniacos, and Judah Rubin in conversation moderated by Jennifer Shyue, this event celebrates the vibrant future of Latin American poetry.
