Jachael123 | Otherside but with Minecraft Caves & Cliffs Noises @Jachael123 | Uploaded December 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.

The full Minecraft 1.18 Caves & Cliffs update has dropped, and along with it, a new music disc composed by Lena Raine! It's called Otherside, and I've decided to recreate it using only sounds from the new update (1.17 included)! β°οΈ

By the way if you're confused and/or curious about any of the fancy musical words that I used in this video, here's my own homemade definitions that I whipped up just for you:
β’ Equalisation/EQ - the process of changing the balance of frequencies in a sample of audio. I basically use it to bring out certain frequencies or get rid of the high or low ends of a sound.
β’ Frequency - the pitch of a note basically. A bassy note would have a low frequency, and a note with more treble would have a high frequency.
β’ Harmony - multiple melodies or notes going on at once to make music sound more full and epic.
β’ High-pass filter - an audio filter that gets rid of low frequencies and allows higher ones to be heard more.
β’ Low-pass filter - the opposite of a high-pass filter.
β’ Melody - a passage of musical notes that is usually the most obvious thing you hear in a piece of music.
β’ Melodic - a sound that can be used as a melody I guess.
β’ Noise - static sounding stuff in an audio clip basically.
β’ Percussion - drums, tambourines, cymbals, cowbells. All that jazz.
β’ Reverb - the effect of making a sound ring out longer. Imagine being in a massive hall and shouting. When you hear you voice linger in the air, that's reverb.
β’ Sustain - when a note is held for a while, kinda like reverb but not an echo
