There is no time for a break when #BlessTheBooth is back for (lucky) week number 13; so wake up, not only because it's the first of the month, but also because we have a brand new installment in our series from NYC phenom Oswin Benjamin, which follows last week's entry from Dylan Owen. Having recently relocated to the Bronx from his native Newburgh, New York, Benjamin is currently prepping the upcoming release of his debut project, a collaborative effort with producer Beewirks entitled Protect Your Soul. The young emcee has showcased his lyrical prowess a number of times in the Booth, including recent standout singles "Conformation" and "The Soul Part 2," and for his Booth-blessing he raps circles around a soulful instrumental from producer Brainiac Beats. The freestyle takes on an especially poignant tone as it's named after Manny Ventura, a childhood friend of Oswin's who passed away last summer.
