Matthew 7:1 teaches not to judge. Criticism is natural, but in the spiritual realm, it divides and harms rather than heals. Only the Holy Spirit can convict without causing harm. A critical attitude hinders communion with God, fostering hardness and pride. Jesus calls for cultivating an uncritical spirit, requiring humility and constant effort. Observing faults in others often reflects greater faults within oneself. Judging others condemns the judge as well, reminding of the transformative grace of God. After encountering God’s cleansing, no one remains beyond hope, for grace reveals the need for mercy in all.
