On playing the songs in the movie live on film: "It is definitely a very vulnerable position to be in. I was ready for it. I was ready for the challenge. I knew I could play Llewyn and I knew what was required, which was these songs. But the songs are these amazing, beautiful old folk songs that have been passed down. So the songs are great. I'm working with T Bone and he's going to tell me if I am sounding false and he is building my confidence throughout and Joel and Ethan are filming it so in a way you'd have to try really hard to f**k that up."
