November 1st, 2015 was a soft opening where the lights were being tested and CM's trained to coordinate moving the people through the lights.
This is the last year for the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights as construction will begin in 2016 to make way for the new Star Wars and Toy Story lands coming to Hollywood Studios.
