In order to enable Aero, you'll need hounsel's driver pack and VMWare Player (untested) or VMWare Workstation 7. Watch my video on Windows Longhorn 5048 for download link and other info. Also, you will have to tweak the registry for Aero to work.

It may say Windows 7 on the Registry tweak website, but it also applies to Vista, too.
Also, when it says "In the right details pane, create a new DWORD (32-bit) Value named Animations, and set its value to 0.", set that value to 1 instead.
Anyways, this is a very interesting video of Windows Vista build 5219. I show you the Aero desktop theme, and all the Beta versions of Windows Vista and technically Windows 7's games. Very interesting to look back at what Microsoft had going on at the time. I actually like the look of this build better than the final RTM build for strange reasons.
And before you ask what wallpaper I have on my main OS (Windows Vista), you'll have to have Windows VISTA Ultimate to apply it. It will not work on ANY OTHER version of Microsoft Windows without using third party software.
