The eight orphaned big brown bats are getting a final check up before release, and I’m testing each one to make sure they are flying well. These are the faces you make while trying to extract a bat from behind your neck. Bats don’t normally fly into hair or land on people, but in the small confines of the flight tent she didn’t have many other choices. She’s also flying great and is ready to release!
