I love attending in-person events for the cool and unique cards you can only find by searching yourself. It's like going on a treasure hunt. Where is the shiny object in the rough and who will have it? You never know what you'll find and where they come from. Some cards were at booths, some in binders, some by people standing nearby that heard me asking about errors. You really never know where the cool error card might be hiding. Some amazing people like "The Olde Card Shoppe" even set aside errors for when I came by. Couldn't respect that move enough as that's someone truly looking out. A move I'll never forget (@TheOldeCardShoppe).
Come to a show. Hang out. See friends. Meet new people. Shows are where the hobby lives and breathes. Such a great way to socialize, tell stories and build your collection. Feel free to share any card show stories or a show collectors should attend.
