For once, it's not a Vocaloid song lol.
I wanted to try out SynthV for a while now, but I was hesitant to do it at first. I don't know why, because it's, uh. Pretty amazing in my opinion. Even the raw voice without tuning sounds pretty fantastic, and the tension parameter is something that I think other vocal synths were sorely missing.
So, maybe I'll keep using it lol.
I ended up going kind of back to my older style of songs for this, because I wanted to use the voice more as-it-came to test it, rather than layering it with a load of effects lol.
I always talk too much here lol.
Oh, lastly, I haven't included a vsqx in the pack like I would usually because it's. Not Vocaloid lol, but if anyone does want one, just let me know and I can whip one up pretty quick.

Well, I suddenly decided to upload this today, since I ended up finishing it.
Ive been pretty sick recently. If youre a Dedicated Owly Fan (tm) (lol) youll know Im pretty much always sick in some way.
This song, even though I didnt intend for it to initially, ended up reflecting how I feel about that. Its very frustrating and isolating to always be unwell, and it stops you doing a lot.
I suppose this isnt really the place to complain about it lol.
Also, this is my first song using V5! Its hard to use.
I took this footage in the video when I was in hospital on an IV drip, but it was in the wrong aspect ratio lol, so I had to work around that. I guess I cant blame my past self for forgetting to film horizontally; the fact that I filmed at all then was weird enough, lol.
Anyway, thanks for supporting me, as always.

LUMis trial was released and god!! I love her!!!!! So much!!!!! I wish I had money!!!!!!!!!!
But while I have it I decided to make a small, pretty simple original with her. I tried to go with her ocean-y theme but, as some of you may know about me, I have a Very Bad phobia of large bodies of water, so it was a liiiiitle bit tricky for me lol, mostly the video part, but I managed it. It was originally going to be a more detailed video but I couldnt really handle it, sorry.
But if I ever get enough money for another vocaloid, it may very well be her. Well see.

Hey hey.
Guess who did a 6 hour deep dive on old viruses one night then decided to write a song about one of them?
If youre confused, Id recommend looking up the ILOVEYOU virus, because thats what this is based on. The actual stuff surrounding the virus isnt super interesting, but I really thought the idea of a virus that heavily utilised this sort of social engineering as part of its spread was fascinating, and made for a really compelling character idea - a virus that doesnt even really understand what love is, but it knows that humans desire it, so itll say anything to get you to open it, because it needs you to spread.
Also, building the old-OS aesthetic with pixel art was really fun. Haha. I miss when computers looked like this.
