This is the third piece in my "Notes from the Attic" series. "Notes from the Attic" is a series of miniatures written in a tonal style which consciously owes a huge debt to the 19th century (and before); music that rejects the smartphone, social media, AI, and embraces a lost era where the calls on our attention were fewer, and we didn’t carry around a world of distraction in our pocket. Am I romanticising the past? Yes, probably.
