Every year, during the first week of July, there is an operating activity that celebrates the original 13 colonies of the United states.
This is not a contest, there are no winners or losers. Instead this is a special event spread out across all of the original 13 colonies that became the first states of the US. A clean sweep is to work all 13 colony stations, and full sweep adds the British station - GB13COL, and French Station TM13COL. Additionally, the WM3PEN Philadelphia Repeater will be up and running and looking for contacts – These are considered bonus stations and may take a bit of effort to work.
