This video has three parts, the first part is about the origin of the Yule goat. This is a traditional Christmas (Yule) decoration in parts of Scandinavia, for instance, in Denmark and Sweden. I will explain where it may originate from, and what pagan connection the Yule goat has.

The second part is about the traditional Swedish snow lantern (Snölykta). This is a very typical winter decoration that many Swedes built outside each year during December.

The third part is about the giant straw goat from Gävle in Sweden. This goat is a major attraction during Yule, and it has quite a funny story to it.
