Origin represents the latest stage of UVA's explorations of large-scale responsive LED sculpture; previous works in this line include Monolith, Tryptich, Volume and Array. At 10 meters across and 10 meters high, it is the largest responsive work UVA has created so far.
Like its predecessors, Origin is concerned with using technology to create a sense of presence, thereby provoking an emotional encounter with those brave enough to submit to its embrace.
