Learn how I use simple, FAST orientation marks to keep wood pieces organized when making glass stop for a custom white oak door. Steps demonstrated in this video show how you can get professional results with a logical, systematic process. I show by example (read: I messed up and left it in the video) the benefits using reference marks can make in the finished product.

Don't miss the bonus segment at the end of the video! It ends with me making a small picture frame with some of the leftover glass stop made in the video. A good handful of tips and a few special tools make quick work of making a custom picture frame so check it out!

Here's the picture framer's vise I use at the end of the video:

The one pictured in this listing is identical to mine but there seems to be problems in reviews. I'd verify with someone at Amazon that the vise you'd get is exactly like the one pictured because a number of comments state an inferior product with downgraded fit and finish was shipped. I noticed a couple on eBay that looked like a great value too.

Here's a comprehensive list of tools, materials and supplies that I use in the shop and NLC videos. Purchases through links on this Amazon Inlfuencer's page are the same low online prices you expect but Amazon pays small ad fees that help support this channel so I really appreciate it.
