Buon Compleanno! Iniziamo col dire che spero avrai una torta gigantesca ad attenderti (non so se immaginarla alla frutta o col cioccolato... gum!)... o magari che tu l'abbia già mangiata, dipende da quando vedi questo videoXD.
Secondariamente... spero che il video ti piaccia. In realtà non ne sono soddisfattissima, doveva essere molto più bello e speciale, ma mi sa che non sono riuscita a rendere bene la storiaç_ç. Inutile dire che Serenity nei credits sei tuXD, e l'immy finale te la spiego in privato^^.

This video was difficult to do, and it doesn't turned out the way I wanted, but I'm happy I did it ^_^. Before leaving you to the story, I want to thank Toru.finalfantasy and my mother, who saw the video and gave me advices... I'm sorry I stressed you, but really thank you for the help! I especially appreciated my mother's hidden comment on my masking^^: when she saw Zack's mask in the video (when he is in the church), she asked me if he was a ghost^^. Thanks mum! And no, he's not a ghost^^. It's just me not so good masking^^.
That said, I chose the characters based on the scenes I had to do. I took "inspiration" for the story from an episode of "When we were orphans", a book by Kazuo Ishiguro (the first lines are taken from the scene I used as "inspiration"). Both in the book and in the video, the main character (Aerith/Marlene in the video) is alone with her mother, in a dangerous situation (in the book the protagonists father was abducted and he is afraid someone could take away his mother too; in the video, Aeriths father is not there, and her mother, Tifa, is a rebel fighter against Shin-ra). Theyre almost alone against the enemies, only few people are with them. One day, one of these few people (an uncle in the book, Cloud in the video) take the protagonist away for a walk; she would like to stay with her mother to protect her, but she knows that her friend would never do something dangerous for them; so she trust him and walk away. But when she realizes that he brought her in a strange place, she understands that he betrayed her and her mother he was bringing her in a safe place, because he sold her mothers life to the enemy. So she tries to come back.
I wanted to focus on the love between mother and daughter, and on the fear Aerith felt for her mother when she realized the betrayal I hope you can understand something of this in the video.
Ah, in the video, Aerith and Zack are fighting against Shin-ra: when they stop in Midgar, Aerith wants to see the place in which she played when she was a child, and Zack escorts her.
Last thing! The japanes lines aren't the real translation of the subtitles!
