Orbital Gas deals much more collateral damage to Illuminate voteless and Overseers compared to the OPS when clearing Warp Ships, due to gas left after detonation.. The Orbital Gas also has a shorter cooldown than the Precision Strike.
Voteless, Overseers, and Flesh Mob will take gas damage and be confused, freeing up helldivers to save citizens from the betentacled grip of the squids.

Spear and W.A.S.P. have similar targeting mechanics in Helldivers 2. However, the spear functions as dedicated heavy and spawner clear that is able to close bug holes and fabricators unidirectionally. The WASP is able to target medium and large enemies, as well as handle fabricators, but requires weak spot his to effectively destroy most heavies, but also deals excellent damage to nearby smaller enemies. The Bile Titan and factory strider are particularly ammo-intensive for the WASP, while the spear is able to handle these enemies in 1 to 2 shots. The WASP also does well in teamplay, as enemies will be more likely to be facing a different direction than the wielder, while the spears rockets are able to handle heavies from any direction, making it better for solo play.

Multiplayer with @ConnorBreadFromBeyond but my goal wasnt elimination.
I put all my Tyranids into peace stance and just played keep away for as long as I was able.
Youtube did something odd and did not have all the capture, so this is only a partial, but it was very fun just running around building everything while he tried to eliminate me. It ran for almost 30 minutes!
