SpaceX’s new Starfall capsule is designed to test how cargo can travel through space and come back safely. Unlike a satellite that stays in orbit, this capsule is made for reentry, using thermal protection and parachutes to return to Earth. To land safely, the capsule first protects itself from the extreme heat of reentry, then opens a parachute system to slow down before touchdown.
