Interzero, a leading provider in waste management and recycling, runs APEX 24.2 applications on Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.14 with an on-premise Oracle Database 19c. This session presents three GenAI use cases implemented with Oracle AI Services, all surprisingly easy to realize.
Self-service reporting with NLQ: Users run natural language queries in APEX and instantly get tailored reports powered by Oracle Generative AI Service and a secure integration of proprietary data tables, even with data residing on a 19c database.
AMI — our GenAI chatbot: Built with Oracle Generative AI Agent Service and RAG, AMI answers customer questions in portals and explains business processes internally, deployed with almost no IT effort.
Document intelligence with Gemini 2.5 on OCI: Unstructured documents like invoices, contracts, and forms are transformed into structured, actionable data, replacing fragmented OCR/NLP pipelines with a unified, scalable cloud-native approach.
We'll also discuss what we'd build differently today using the latest capabilities available in APEX 26.1.
