Avowed GTX 1080 Ti has beautiful graphics utilizing Unreal Engine 5's Lumen ray tracing and Nanite virtualized geometry tech, even on GPUs that don't support ray tracing. My GTX 1080 Ti runs this game at over 60fps at high settings. I created optimized settings based on my experience with the game so far in this first day. However, this game seems to be really well optimized and has very scalable settings, which we love to see!!! Here's the optimized settings I used for most of the video:
Upscaling: TSR at 50% resolution scale
Anti-Aliasing: Epic? Not sure
View Distance: High
Shadow Quality: High
Texture quality: Epic (most likely). VRAM dependent. Epic appears to use 6GB of VRAM on my 11GB card.
Shading Quality: High
Effects Quality: Medium
Foliage Quality: High
Post Processing Quality: Medium
Reflection Quality: High
Global Illumination Quality: High (changes with resolution.) (If decreasing TSR Screen Percentage, increase global illumination quality to maintain same quality. If increasing TSR Screen Percentage, decrease global illumination quality.) (This setting effects rays per pixel).
I purposefully disabled Nvidia Reflex because I am recording using x264 on my CPU and Reflex was reducing my frame rate by like 4 fps due to very high CPU load. I needed to let it que more frames.
0:00 - 4:12 High Settings with Ray Tracing, TSR 50% Resolution Scale
4:12 - 5:00 Global Illumination Quality Optimized Settings Guide
5:00 - 8:39 High Settings with Lumen, TSR 50% Resolution Scale
8:39 - 11:32 Shadow Quality Optimized Settings Guide
11:32 - 12:50 Epic Shadow Quality
12:50 - 14:20 Resolution Scale Optimized Settings Guide
14:20 - 17:47 75% Resolution Scale Low Settings
17:47 - 18:36 Native 1440p Low Settings (TSR Anti Aliasing)
18:36 - 22:15 TSR vs FSR 3 at 720p Internal (50% Resolution Scale)
