I bought an Opinel #8 after hearing some good things about them. The price was right so I went for it. When I received it my initial thoughts were...wow its sharp and it doesn't look durable. After testing the edge, feathers, notching, spine and fire. I am very impressed with these knives. It is a great bushcraft knife for small jobs. As for the durability we will just have to wait and see!
