Buckle in my dear Jedi - this one is a bit long. And it only picks up speed as it goes. Are Jedi Jerks? Reality is this - The Jedi Way is one of Betterment. It is meant to give us the tools to not only deal with the outside world and life and all that, but to grow from the challenges we face. Never should a Jedi utter the words to you "if you can't handle me being rude, how will you deal with others." Because it is faulty, broken, and purely erroneous logic. We learn to deal with by seeing the examples of actual Jedi dealing with tough situations with patience, knowledge, serenity, diplomacy, and awareness. Not by abusing others because we see a couple examples of fictional Jedi being discourteous.
