Hardy and McCowan take the Elite back to Outpost C-9 for interrogation. After several days of fruitless effort, Hardy contacts Shore and arranges for the Elite to be moved. In the war torn city of New Mombasa, two ODST's go head-to-head against a group of Covenant, while escaping from the city. Meanwhile, Colonel Shore meets with an ONI Officer to discuss the Covenant and their intentions with New Mombasa.
