The Duck Variations has been exhilarating and full of discovery. Mamet's play is funny and wise and lighthearted. Our two characters, Emil and George, sit on a bench by a lake to commune, to complain, to converse and often spout about everything
from religion to politics, from outer space to friendship and death; and, most importantly, the life of the duck.
Opera House Arts at the 1912 Stonington Opera House, on the National Register of Historic Places, has been producing live professional and community theater, and first run movies, in the restored Opera House since 2000.
