Following the popular presentations of The Year of The Perfect Christmas Tree and The Wild Fox, we are proud to present a community-wide reading of another beloved Maine story, Burt Dow: Deep Water Man by Robert McCloskey.
Local families, musicians, and artists young and old take part in reading the story from their homes.
Whenever Burt Dow, who lives in a snug little house on the Maine coast, sets out to sea, his pet giggling gull goes along. But this time, it will take all his might and some plain old ingenuity to save him and the gull from a raging storm.

Opera House Arts at the 1912 Stonington Opera House, on the National Register of Historic Places, has been producing live professional and community theater, and first run movies, in the restored Opera House since 2000.
