The theme of this project is a character who has been thrust into the spotlight and now must contend with the ramifications of it. Basically just read the lyrics and you'll get the idea. Lots of angst and interesting character dynamics!

This is a palette MAP with a background style that inverts every so often according to the timing shown in the call video. PMV and AMV are acceptable as long as it matches the energy of the song. Both OCs and fandom characters accepted, state what you'd be using in your comment and whether it will include heavy spoilers. Parts here are intentionally cut short and you are encouraged to take at least two consecutive parts. A deadline won't be set until a majority of parts are filled.

$「CLOSED」The Devil Within - Anything Halloween Horror MAP Call Its that time of year again :)) This is a rehost of a rehost, first by Tama1313, then by Neil Tovey and Skyhawk, and now by yours truly; a rather open-ended Halloween MAP! ART DIRECTORY The theme/overall aesthetic of this MAP is glitchy, old found footage. Go wild with VHS effects! Every part must have some form of TV damage overlay, and those without it will have it added upon MAP completion. Since this is a Halloween MAP, go for a spooky/horror theme! AUs are recommended if you arent using horror media. Characters are their normal colors, but the background has a general palette of three colors (a black, a blue, and a green) which can be tweaked and blended to your liking. Adding lyrics is not required, though you are encouraged to include important words on screen for emphasis. Words must be written in this Retro Computer font: https://www.dafont.com/retro-computer.font MAP RULES Obviously, no tracing/copying/bad art practices will be tolerated. Not first come first served. Also not a beginner MAP, though I will be more lenient than normal. Video examples on your channel are a requirement for application. AMV or PMV permitted, just keep to the general beat of the song. Since the parts are cut a bit oddly dont hesitate to make yours a bit longer than your part duration to ensure a smooth transition. The art direction must be followed without exception. 16:9 aspect ratio, at least 720p 24fps, 1080p preferred, up to 4K 60fps accepted. Final MAP will be exported in 4K 60fps. No program or personal watermarks permitted. Joining the Discord server is a requirement so we can monitor your progress. Blood and gore is permitted but do ask if you plan to go extreme, as the MAP will not have any warnings. This is an anything MAP, so fandoms and OCs are allowed, EXCEPT fandoms listed in the blacklist below. Greenscreen transitions are permitted. Taking multiple parts is permitted. Codeword is the fandom/OCs you plan to use for your part(s). Upon acceptance you will receive a one time link to join the Discord. DUE DATES All parts from this point on are due as soon as possible; the hard deadline after which nothing can be submitted is October 28th. BACKUPS Apply for backup only if youre comfortable with being called in anytime from now until Halloween.
