King Henry VIII, one of England's most infamous monarchs, is remembered for his six marriages, two of which ended with the execution of his wives. But his health was just as turbulent as his reign. By 1547, his condition worsened due to obesity, smallpox, and gout, leading to his death inside the Palace of Whitehall. Although Henry requested to be buried alongside his third wife, Jane Seymour, in St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, the grand tomb he envisioned was never completed. Instead, he was laid to rest in a modest vault, alongside other kings and queens. However, his resting place has been disturbed multiple times, including when the coffin was broken during the burial of Charles I.
