Surupa Biswas is the Vice President of Engineering responsible for Core Infrastructure at Meta, the internal cloud serving Meta’s Family of Apps & Meta AI. Her group builds the online distributed systems that power Meta's offerings, and the platforms Meta engineers build on. Surupa started at Facebook in 2013.
Her career spans nearly two decades of working on programming languages, compilers, developer tools and distributed systems at Microsoft and Meta. She holds degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Maryland in College Park.
