In this video I'll show how to open the TX on this Icom IC-V86 HT Handy Talkie using only 1 tool. This is a very easy modification, but you must proceed at your own risk! This can damage your radio. After the mod your radio should transmit from 136-174. There may be a need to reset the radio after the mod although mine didn't need anything special. I removed the part and it was working fine afterwards.
