ok so, hear me out. I've decide to put my 'Oh Mrs. Believer MAP' on hold until winter since it is more of a winter inspired song, and I'm planning on rebooting my Cats vs. Dogs map soon too since people have stopped responding to my comments...BUT THEY WILL 100% BE FINISHED AND SO WILL THIS MAP!!!
anyways... This is map is inspired by the movie Coco! If you have not seen it I HIGHLY recommend it but i guess it is not necessary to have seen the movie to join this map though it would be helpful if you’ve seen it.

Okay so this map follows the story of an alebrije (a spirit guide of the afterlife) who cannot find the entrance to the spirit world. He eventually sees a Cempaspuchitl (a type of petal that it used to make a path to day of the dead alters so that the spirits can find it) and sees that there are others ahead of it and gets excited and begins to follow the them. As he walks he begins to see the outlines of other alebrijes and more and more petals appear. Eventually he sees a HUGE path made of the petals and begins to run towards it welcomed by the other alebrijes when he gets there. He celebrates with them and they all live happily ever after THE END.
RULES:
1. This map requires lip sync. There are one or two parts that don’t but the rest must have it!
2. You MUST MUST MUST follow the designs. If you don’t follow them exactly it will throw off the whole map so pleasee look at them carefully!! (Especially the background colors!! It’s not just a plain black!!

3. You have to have animation examples so I can see what your capable of! I will be pretty picky, but please don’t take it personally! If I don’t pick you it doesn’t mean your art isn’t good, I just don’t think its a right fit for the map!!
4. Please list the parts you want from most to least!! You’re allowed to ask for two parts since they are generally pretty short!
5. Code word: include a random Spanish word in your comment!
6. Your part should follow this basic outline...
Parts 1-3: character is sitting down singing to himself
Parts 4-5: he stands up and is walking singing to himself
Part 6: he sees the trail of petals and picks up the pace and starts to follow them (becomes brighter)
Parts 7: he is following the trail of petals and he looks up and sees the silhouettes of other alebrijes
8-10: he continues to follow the path of petals surround by the silhouettes
11: he’s looking down at the petals and looks up from the path and looks get really excited
12: we see the huge path made of petals and he starts running toward it (becomes brighter)
13-18: he greets the other (now fully colored alebrijes) as he runs/walks around and they greet him back (the background character must lipsync too if the focus is on them IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE PARTS FIT TOGETHER WELL SO TRY YOUR BEST TO WORK WITH THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE PARTS BEFORE AND AFTER YOURS!!

19: he is surrounded by the others as they sing and celebrate together and the camera pans upward toward the black sky
DUE DATE: 1 month after you receive a part (all the parts are really short btw so don’t stress)
EXTENSIONS: I will give you a 2 week extension once you show me a wip! You can get up to 3 extensions (depending on the date) as long as you show me and wip with a decent amount of updates from the last.
