Winnipeg, Jan. 23, 2017 -- Open Bethlehem tells the story of Leila Sansour and the campaign she led to help the city of Bethlehem resist the ravages of the Israeli security wall by inviting the people of the world to visit and adopt a unique form of citizenship. The film was screened at Université de Saint-Boniface in Winnipeg before a large audience. Following this, Executive Producer Waël Kabbani discussed the film with Janelle Delorme of Development and Peace – Caritas Canada.
