Normally vocoders are used to make robot voices and Daft Punk parodies... But, they can also be really nice for adding harmonies to drums or filling out simpler synth sounds.
In this quick experiment I ran a Casio SK-1 through the vocoder to affect the drums and organ sound at the same time. We start off small and simple but gradually build into some really lush tones.
I made this on the day this new vocoder patch came out on the OP-1 Field. It was fun to document this little experiment. I hope you like it.
