Using the trick Exodus found with the application found by Gabyelnuevo, it is possible to clear the first room of Jabu easily with just a deku stick.Normally, you can use a wall for this, but the walls in Jabu do not recoil. Technically, I think you could use the teeth, but you would have to aim up quite a bit which makes the timing not as good. Luckily the rocks that the octoroks spit are very easy to use. The inputs that I am doing are:
- Hold are to crouch shield, and hold down the item menu button.
- Enter the home menu when the rocks are very close to Link
- Upon reentering the game, continue holding R, and buffer a stick input to crouch stab.
- Remove deku stick from your equips.
