All systems, IT, OT, any type of T, have a large number of vulnerabilities disclosed every year. The number of vulnerabilities is going to increase if SBOMs have us considering component vulnerabilities. You need to efficiently and effectively patch the vulnerabilities that will result in major risk reduction... and perhaps defer patching on those that will have trivial risk reduction.

Logan Carpenter walks you through the Never, Next, Now patching concept that was originally presented at S4x19 by Art Manion. He introduced some of the factors that will affect your decision tree process, and hopefully ease your security patching burden.
