Weed management is a critical component of every fruit and vegetable production system, but how can it be done successfully and sustainably? This session will explore the answers to this question, featuring: a discussion of how improving weed management requires seed and seedling focused tactics; dialogue about the importance of crop rotation, green manures, seedbed preparation and other practices in a farmer’s weed management toolkit; insights about selecting the right weed management tools and practices.
