Notice: so after looking at the Aftermath Discord, the "No_Thief_4_you." glitch I mentioned in this video I just saw they made a patch for it last Wednesday, so you can scratch that off the list
ANYWAYS! This is the first mod I played and... just to show my reaction, I did put in the part BEFORE deleting my data. (I do delete it of course before really starting the game)
So, hope everyone enjoys the playthrough and... I WILL be throwing this video at the dev, in case there is anything suspicious (besides the "no thief 4 you" glitch that was fixed) for them to see my reactions... and anything they need to fix lol
You can download the mod via the discord channels below (first one you need to read the rules and find out how to access the fan game/mod channel to get to the download, the second channel below you can access it right away though!)

Thoughts on the mod (will try to make it fit in the description lol)
I really like how the game starts you in the familiar beginning room... only to find new puzzles because it's technically post Solstice. (currently not randomized, but they WILL be next big update)
Also... this game really knows how to tug on my heart strings, making me KNOW... that Niko being back is my fault. I installed the mod and put the files to make Niko come back.
Niko was happy.
But now...............
... anyways, I like how there is some new characters introduced too, but while there were some things needing to be fixed (besides the random glitches of course haha) I do know Quill will show some emotion next big update for trading their book like... LITERALLY RIGHT AFTER GETTING IT hahahaha (felt bad about that too)
But yeah, can't wait to see where this mod is taking us... after a dramatic ending like that!

Well, still not quite an army yet... we pretty much head straight in to a fortress that is heavily protected... and from the outside looks VERY difficult to beat... but in reality a few good turns of taking out the enemies outside gives you a get out of jail free for pretty much the entire map... I say pretty much because one sneak attack happened but I took care of said sneaker before they could even move hahaha...
But yeah, Ive noticed A LOT of the enemies in this path so far... have quite the amount of HP which... kinda makes me wonder if you are SUPPOSE to grind... although at the same time I havent needed to because I am smart enough to know how to deal with such enemies and use Azura to my advantage.
Anyways... the question now is... take on Chapter 1x after finally getting a good enough army IMO to take on said chapter... or head into Chapter 9?

Decided to go for 2 achievements that take a bit of time and practice IMO to do (as well as good info on what to do such as prepare the code text document and KNOW where to go for the final puzzle!)
So after 3 tries of trying to do the next version of this mode (which forgot was a thing, but was trying to get under 35 mins to prepare for it...)
Try 4 was when I had a good run going (with some dumb mistakes but nothing costing me the run)
Anways...

So, just a test recording I wanted to do on the new Elgato HD60 S I got, and what better way than...
... to show off my skillz against the secret boss in the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion hahaha...
This actually is my 3rd win against Agent 3, first for obvious reasons. (if you win the first time, you get the Golden Toothpick headgear which has a Special Charge Up as its main and no need to use any snails to get an extra slot, it already comes with 3!)
Beating Agent 3 again however... leads to absolutely nothing, just something to have fun with... in case anyone wanted to know.
Sorry for no mic but, besides being busy this week and tired at night, the next month I may not be able to record as having my moms cousin visit starting on the 17th and(including not wanting to use my voice due to tiredness as well...) yesterday was my birthday, and the capture card was actually one of the gifts I got, so wanted to try it out. (no worries, this took maybe 20-30 mins to do... would have been less if I didnt retry with the cutscene all over again lol)
Also, kinda funny in a way... even though I know the protagonist of the Octo Expansion is probably female, its kinda cool having Agent 3 (which is female from the trailer) going against the male octoling, with orange ink (female in first game) versus blue ink (male in first game)

So... I think this video describes quite nicely why Chapter 11 has not gone up yet... as it is STILL near impossible for me to freaking beat this chapter as every freaking enemy can bum rush you and... as you can tell by the ending...
YOU ONLY HAVE ONE TURN TO SAVE OROCHI! WHO THE HELLS BRIGHT IDEA WAS IT TO MAKE THE PEGASUS KNIGHT BE THE ONLY WAY TO GET TO THE PERSON THAT CAN KILL HER SINCE FOREST TILES SLOW EVERYONE BUT THOSE UNITS DOWN?!

(while first few minutes seems like a lucky break... at the same time, Ive seen luckier happen lol)
So, I dont know too many people that actually show not only the window that you can see the portals in, but also the game itself when they actually disappear AND reappear too, which I love the entire concept of it moving in real time.
And if someone wonders, no, moving them to a different color portal will NOT make them appear there (if anything Id just expect it being because of them not being compatible with the portal)
... although if it were the case, I think I know Proto would probably say something like I think *persons name* isnt taking this seriously... or something like that hahaha
Anyways... while everything good happens in the end...
... its still sad to see Niko go... permanently.
Sure they are back at their home world/dimension, but... never to actually be seen again... (unless you screw with the files and delete all the info, including app data folder business... but you wouldnt do that would you?)
Still though, this story... I still rank it high as quite the experience, as it breaks the 4th wall a lot... in a way to make you feel like you are apart of the world too.
And for those that say the Solstice run doesnt let you interact with Niko as much, remember what Proto said, the user does not have full control over things... so Id chalk that up to the Author not being able to patch those kinds of interactions in. (yes, I can make excuses for the game, as I really enjoyed the Solstice run even if you cant chat with Niko too much)
Anyways, there will still be one more video after this one with some extra things Id like to show (not too many, but still, there are 3 main things to show nonetheless), as well as the other ending you can get. (which follows also getting the final achievement too)
Note: Forgot to say, the song that plays in the final part of the game, back in the room where everything begins, if I remember correctly... that song is also dedicated to TheJudge (Felix) too...
... maybe one day Ill play his OFF fan game... (Ive watched playthroughs of OFF, which... I liked but not as interested playing it after seeing a playthrough unlike this game... however never seen any footage of HOME before)
