Working with two shuttles and two different colors does not mean every element has to show both colors.
In this video, I show a simple tatting trick for making a Split Chain in a single color while two shuttles with different threads are in use. The result is a clean, one-color element without changing the threads or adding another shuttle.
It is a useful little technique to keep in mind when working with two-color tatting and wanting more control over where each color appears in the finished design.
