A reprogrammed OTP (Aladdin eToken Pass) doing something a little bit more interesting :-). The font is rather peculiar but it's the best I can do on a 7-segment display.

It has to catch up during the fast parts of the song because I had to limit the speed. I can easily make it go faster, but then it's totally unreadable.

The guts: turns out this thing runs on a PIC16F1936, so I just reprogrammed it with my own firmware after reverse engineering the pinout. The ICSP port is available on the back, as well as a serial port.
