I believe this to be the simplest trap trigger ever devised. I saw it used years ago. A small forked stick can be balanced against the trigger instead of using cordage. Forgive the rough cage - it was thrown together with tree trimmings in a hurry. Check me out at Drivewayprimitive.blogspot.com.
