A brief visit by unknown alien beings leaves a land of danger and magic around Chernobyl power plant: The Exclusion Zone. While the Zone was sealed off, people access it in secret to obtain rare and powerful alien technologies that continue to appear. A rumour emerges about the most powerful treasure of all, The Wishgranter. Hearing of it, a man decides to commit everything he has to reaching it, no matter what must be done. He sets off to enter The Zone.
This story combines the lore of the STALKER series with that of Roadside Picnic, the book the game is very vaguely based on. In turn, my story is only somewhat based on STALKER, not involving the game's actual plot much. I'm using the Shadow of Chernobyl mod to walk around the different areas freely, and will aim to visit most of the areas to get references for the story. The gameplay shown is both not the actual plot of the games, nor of what I'm writing. Watching the video is optional!
The format for this story will be similar to Roadside Picnic, in which there is a timeskip in between each part. So in essence I'll be selecting 5-ish key adventures and only covering those.
