Today we tackle the One Pick Challenge, finish our City Destroyer from Independence Day, and say goodbye to a friend. Or not.
I'll upload the resource pack to our Discord, listed below.
THE ONE PICK CHALLENGE
1) There is no time limit.
2) You will use one netherite pickaxe with full durability until it breaks.
3) Enchantments allowed: unbreaking, efficiency, silk touch. You can have a shovel for gravel.
4) You can take fire resistance potions.
5) The goal is to collect as much gold ore, quartz ore, and ancient debris as possible before the pick breaks.
6) If you uncover or see any quartz or gold ore it must be mined. You can’t skip it.
7) There is no mining ahead allowed. Meaning you can’t pass up gold ore or quartz ore and come back to mine it later. It has to be mined as you go.
8) If you die the round is over and no points will be given.
9) Points are as follows for each ore block:
- ancient debris ..... 20 pts
- quartz ............. 5 pts
- gold ............... 2 pts
10) For the “run” to count you must record it in full and timelapse any boring parts for video. No video cuts will be allowed.
Addendum) You do not have to dig one straight tunnel.
