We are proud to share that IBM Fellow and quantum pioneer Charles H. Bennett and Gilles Brassard of the Université de Montréal, two true pioneers whose work advanced the field of quantum information science, have been named the 2025 ACM A.M. Turing Award recipients.
The award citation recognizes their foundational work that helped ignite the “quantum revolution,” advance the field of quantum information science, and reshape how researchers understand computation, communication, and the nature of information itself.
